It has nothing to do with the weather
Some second hand parts are acceptable i.e. a L8 ECU others are not i.e. a 10yr old+ loom. I don't mind using stuff that's not new as long as it does not compromise reliability... it makes the bill cheaper or allows money to be spent elsewhere!!!
