Having valves re-lapped in etc won't really benefit you if you aren't losing compression from there, and being perfectly honest, if your going down that route it wouldnt be a proper job without new valves and valve guides either, which all soon adds up and contributes to the bill, especially seeing as the valve guides need to be pressed in.

If all your looking to do is get it quieten it down then just do what i have suggested above and also save some money!
