No... but the Inland Revenue do.....

People always think they are smart and the Revenue are dumb... but this isnt the case... the Revenue know 98% of the tricks in the book and how to spot them and if you are unfortunate to get caught out then they start looking at back taxes.. and remember they can go back SEVEN years....


For a Director of a company it is more efficient to run a car as their car and claim mileage at the agreed rates, especially if they are doing a decent amount of business miles. (Eg first 10,000 business miles are paid at 40p per mile, 25p thereafter)

However, you cant then put repair bills, tax and insurance through the company.
