Hi guys

I recently re-booted my computer back to a clean windows XP, and re-installed the programmes i had on it before. But if i download pics from my digi cam to the computer, right click the file then rename, it says 'image may become unstable after doing this', so I click ok, and i then cannot open the image. I have noticed though that if i put .jpg at the end of the new file name then it works ok. Its not too much of a problem, but if I am doing a lot of images at once, then i can't highlight them all at once and do it, i have to do them all individually!!

Anyone know what could be wrong?
