when my std clutch started slipping above 4k , i simply had the plate itself rebuilt.
the rebuilders cut me a ss disc and attached 6 copper pads to it and still retained the springs. i reused the pressure plate and did not skim the flywheel as my motor had only done 1,500km's

six pads are easier on the drive but this type of plate are useless in traffic , if it aint your daily , rather put an uprated std unit or start giong to the gym and work your clutch leg out!!!

unfortunately an uprated clutch does hammer the rest of your drive , my box is in for repairs after 6 yearsof abuse
