ERST's aren't unreliable at all. The problem is people who own them rag the arse off them all the time and don't maintian them properly. Common sense really. You can buy a shitter of an RST for 2 grand which is really bottom base for a runner. These kiddies buy one thats fucked anyway, then abuse it and wonder why it stops. Yet all these people say 'buy an BMW, they never break down'. OK - maybe it's because these cars are out of the price range of the dickheads who rag the arse off their RST and don't maintain them whereas if you spend £7k on a car you will probably look after it ?

Likewise. Can't add much more. Buy a shitter and whack the boost up it's not a case of if it breaks but when. It's usually the people that don't look after their cars that then complain about the car being unreliable. Mine was my daily runner for about 8 years and it was only this last 2 that it's become a toy and I have a normal car for daily duties. In that 8 years it never failed to get me to or from work
