hi , was working in my taxi sat night , its 2.5 diesel transit.... and it started making a spinning whining noise when down shifting, anyway i chose to ignore it as i needed to earn some cash , the obvious happened several hours later and when i pulled off in 1st gear i lost all drive... now i can start the engine and put it in gear with out the clutch being used and still get no drive also get a loud crunching noise when trying to select any gears.... this is my question is it the clutch or gearbox im undecided as i havent had one go like this before , id appreciate any ideas cheers
