Default BMW Convertibles - RESETTING ROLL OVER HOOPS question...

Evening all,

I know there's a lot of clever peeps on here, plus a few BMW owners, so a question for you...

How do I lower the roll over hoops on my M3 Cabby? Had a bit *cough* of a sideways moment at the Weston PF meet and things nearly went

Came on to a roundabout too quick (50/60 ish), the back slid wide, I dialled in the lock, then I think I backed off (as was at this point heading straight towards the central reservation of my exit road ) The car snapped round the otherway and I was then head on at the armco beside the exit road. Luckily (bit of an understatement) missed the barrier by a matter of an inch or two, sliding at least 20 feet sideways to the direction of the road.

No damage to the car thankfully, but a bit of a brown trouser moment. Lesson learned - I can't go round that roundabout as fast as I do in my 4x4 Cossie...I won't do that again.

The Roll over hoops popped up mid slide (good to know they work, proper shit me up when they popped up ), but they now won't go back down.

Anyone know how to reset them?

Technical diagrams of the incident will follow shortly as JJCoDex was following me in his M5 and saw all of it... I'm sure he'll be on his etch-a-sketch shortly!!!
