Exactly. Damage to the highway...poor maintenance claims...you can't help driving through potholes if they are in the lane where you need to drive generally...

You can help rolling around over the middle of the road over hashed lines onto traffic islands...to hit that sharp bit you'd have to have been properly on it aswell...not in the general vicinity of it
