Right, i know practically nothing about diesels, so can someone tell me how the spec of a diesel turbo varies from a petrol one?

Do they typically have larger or smaller hotsides relative to the cold sides for example, what about BHP per lb/min of air, works out to roughly 10:1 for petrol, but what is it for diesel?
