A friend drove through a a bit of a flood with his 2wd cossie 2 days ago and she will not run properly since. It was nothing major, just a small splash, then after a minute or so the spluttering started.
Ticks over fine and holds a steady rev fine but under any acceleration it misses and has only about half power. It will reach full boost, only it takes longer than usual. We have checked nearly everything i can think of. All sensors and connections seem ok and there is a good spark from each plug. Maybe the water had nothing to do with the problem but it seems kinda likely.
Im stuck on this one anyway so has anyone come across anything like this or have any suggestions, thanks
