As a general rule, i personally, would:

1. Fit it.......
2. Before you adjust anything see if the car starts.........
3. IF it does....
4. Get it (as a BARE MINIMUM) on a CO analyser ASAP and DON'T boost it up
5. If it doesn't........check for fuel at the injectors with the pump running, and if it does that try adjusting the mixture screw fractionally until you can get it to start and then go to 4.
