internally there's 3 "VB027" ignition driver devices mounted on the heatsink, and 6 surface mount pcb mounted driver devices (smaller) covered with a heatsink.

3 of these smaller devices are hard-wired to the harness connector (the 6-cyl. mod i presume)

Now it would make logical sense to me that the 3 ignition drivers would drive 3 wasted spark coils (or 3 pairs of single cyl coils in wasted spark pairs in my case) and the 6 smaller drivers do the injectors..

...but this isn't how the instructions tell it...

Instructions say to wire the coils individually to 6 pins - "Ignition drivers 1-6" and the injectors in 3 pairs to "Injector drivers 1-3"
Now this means that 3 coils are driven by the smaller drivers, which I'd be surprised if are rated to do so..

Just seems to me there may be a bit of a muddle in the paperwork??
