The oil does sound a bit serious. Usually turbo failure but could also be worn rings. Check the preather return isn't blocked as they were common for blocking (the one in th base of the block).
I don't think it's the turbo as it's relatively new judging by the receipts for the car plus there are none of the usually signs of turbo failure. The oil seems like it's being blown through the separator tank and through the air-flow meter all the way round to the intake manifold. I'll check all the breather pipes and get them cleaned whilst I'm at it.

Still doesn't explain the go - no go problem I've had since owning it though, but maybe this small strip down will reveal a few things.

I'd never thought I'd say it, but I'm getting to the end of my tether with my S1. A few friends have bought Beemers of late and I'm very much impressed. Build quality is good and they just feel so much nicer to drive. They just make my S1 feel do antiquated and primitive. I just wish Beemers looked as nice as my S1 then I'd be laughin'.
