question on them anyhow, how do you lower the compression on them to fit a big turbo or can you just get away with a big turbo , injectors and ecu etc
Not ones without spark plugs .

The Photodetonation Quasiturbine is quite similar to a rotary engine, but it has four faces on its rotor, rather than the usual three.

Photodetonation is a term for the compression-only ignition and combustion of a petrol/air mixture rather than the spark ignition of a traditional petrol engine. Petrol has a higher octane rating than diesel and is more difficult to ignite via compression alone. A conventional piston engine design would not be able to cope with the stresses, but the Quasiturbine apparently can. One of the benefits is a very clean exhaust as almost all the hydrocarbons are burnt . So this will obviously be pursued for ecological reasons...
