yes mate try hte housing department first, I just rang the council and got told there was only 4 garages in my area and they were taken so got put on a list, contacted housing department and they said it was a load of bollox and there were about 10 empty and could take my pick
I've been on the council list for 3yrs or more now and still nothing had a letter 2/3 mounths ago asking if we wanted one as there was some coming up to rent but heard fook all since
Also there terms and condison are ONLY STORAGE FOR A CAR WHICH IS FULLY ROAD WORTHY IE TAX MOT'd ect ect But do whot others do and dont worry about that bit lol
