Now THAT I agree with, pretty much summed it up really Matt... Unlikely the cocks knew what the symbol originally meant, or how long it has been around, but knew it is attributed to Nazism, and knew it would be construed as disrespecful against british soilders from WWII...
And looks like they acheived in what they set out to do....
So really, who's the bigger fool? Them for doing it, or us for putting it in the news and bitching about it on the internet?
They got what they wanted - publicity, to create anger and be noticed. Had we had ignored it, and done nothing (other than to clean it off) they wouldn't have got the reaction they wanted, and whilst it would probably still happen again, over time of it being ignored, it would stop because they aren't getting the reaction they want.
