yes the graphics card does all the work handling the monitors and graphics (so don't skimp too much!) so your pc will be fine.

also maybe think about getting a widescreen tft screen to get the most from digital tv - otherwise you could end up with black bars top and bottom of your screen - but make sure the graphics card supports it!
