after much searching etc for my mate connecting his x box to live is causing problems ,

hes got aol silver , using the ics method but is getting problems with dns after searching ive managed to find a couple of server no.s (primary & secondary ) but still no joy can anybody help with a step by step guide and has he GOT TO contact aol to let them know he is trying to do this or not ?
