Took my S1 for a rolling road session at Weston Performance about a month ago, only to find it wouldn't rev over 5000rpm without retarding the ignition and back firing like mad. A fault with the dizzy was diagnosed and I went away disappointed but glad someone had finally pointed me in the right direction of what was wrong.

A new dizzy from Fleabay complete with new Ford arm and cap landed at my house this morning. Fitted new dizzy, and holy shit, what a difference!

Just need to get it back on the rollers to see what its truelly capable of ..... 147bhp last time but aborted due to the problem.
