AG Paint Restorer is okay on small patches, but i wouldn't want to tackle large areas with it. I could be wrong but i think it advises against this on the back of the bottle anyway? T-Cut is old and outdated - it's abrasives do not diminish and hence can harm the paint, leaving dull areas as Alex said above.
I've found SSR2 harder to work by hand over an entire vehicle, but it can be used as effectively as SSR1 as Alex said. I've had better results from use on individual panels. Bear in mind though that for swirl removal, you wouldn't usually start with either of these by machine (sticking with Poorboy's, SSR2.5 would be a common starting place), so trying to use them to do it be hand is nigh on impossible...
