Default Compressor maps and Turbo advice needed please. CVH turbo.

As i'm wanting to change my XR2t's turbo.

But not sure whats the T25 i have fitted is good for.

- Std Xr2 TT turbo

T25,
t25 comp housing off of a saab, .36 comp wheel.
exhaust housing .49 off of a rover 820 ventess,
t25 centre housing, with 270' bearing.

- My T25 built by universal turbo's, as above but -

T25,
.45 comp wheel,
.64 exhaust housing from a nissan 200sx s13
T25 centre housing, with staggered piston ring, a mellott 360' bearing

Not sure of its power capabiltitys of the compressor side, nor the flow of the exhaust side,

its made

4/03 on BD's RR

140 bhp @ wheels @ 12psi
165bhp @ wheels, at 17psi,
on a 7.0:1cr 1.8 cvh, flowed head and cvh35 cam

1/04 on BD's RR

143 bhp/wheels @ 10psi
154 bhp/wheels @ 13psi,
on a 9.3:1cr 1.6 cvh, flowed head and cvh 35 cam

3/04 on PTS RR

147 bhp/wheels, 196 lbft @ 10psi
165 bhp/wheels, 229 lbft @ 13psi
on 9.6:1cr 1.6 chv, flowed head and cvh 35 cam.

6/06 on Surrey RR, Dyno dynamics.

148 bhp/wheels, 170 lbft @ 12psi
155 bhp/wheels, 184 lbft @ 16psi
159 bhp/wheels, 194 lbft @ 18psi
on 7.9:1cr 1.6 cvh, Stg 3 head and cvh 36 cam

As you can see i've tried different engine spec's, and the turbo will produce 23 psi from 3600 rpm and hold it to 6500 rpm

But its so Laggy, i mean 15 psi @ 3500 rpm, 10psi @ 3200rpm, on the same spec as the rr figure for 6/06
I've driven RST's on T3's that are 500 - 700 rpm less laggy.

i believe the turbo to be fine for over 170bhp/wheel (210bhp/fly), but at the moment the Ex mani isholding it back, as its a poor design.

i either going to

modifie my T25 to fit a T3 RST ex mani

or

fit a T28 nissan pulser turbo to a T3 mani

or

try a T3, but dont know whats best spec for 220bhp?
