mate had a similar injury a good few years ago after an incident with a large plate glass window,he decided on the way home from the pub that he wanted a carry oot just a shame the shop was shut at the time
the fanny kicked the window in and walked into the shop,as he did a huge piece of glass fell from the top of the window frame,he stuck his hand up to stop it hitting his head and it sliced just about right through 3 of his fingers,got a lot of use back in his hand but took a while and a good load of physio,not 100% but useable
imagine your hand will just feel about as useful as a claw just now but keep your chin up it will get better bud
