Check all the multiplugs in the engine bay for signs of corrosion, mositure etc.

Also check the ECU plug. I expect you've lost the side of the coil that the rev counter derives its signal from.

If you've changed the coil pack it can only really be wiring/connections and/or at worst a faulty ECU
