The one at the liverpool end was always open when I lived in north wales.You had to stay in the inside lane from the start to use it.The one at the birkenhead end wasnt used a lot but I have been down there.My grandad used to deliver fresh fish to hotels in north wales and I remember going through it a few times.Ah the good old days.
