Thats what i do sometimes aswell, and you do actually know your doing it you just have to push the cue forwards as if your pushing the cue ball along with your tip.

P.s did anyone just see ronnie o sullivan get beat 5-1 by the aussie neil robertson? proper shocked at the score line but not that he actually beat ronnie because this guy neil is an excellent player, very good long potter and great "fear less" attitude, fairplay for him getting into the top 16 and being only the 4th ever aussie to get into a semi
