They don't sound very nice afterwards and it usually takes a few minutes for them to refill with oil

I'm hoping to fill in what I expect to loose response wise with having to run these cams, with the Mountune roller-barrel inlet, and if necessary, 3.9 gearing to sharpen it up further. That way, I "hope" to get thebest of both worlds (obviously the slight increase in capacity will help)

I dont like the thought of them over 8K myself either, ive gone for solids for my engine (LET not YB but extremely similar) was just saying its not quite as dramatic a sudden death as some people may have read your post as meaning.
