They have the option to stop him wasting their time if they wish Lee, so they dont need you to defend them surely?
When they moved a post and he then reposted it in the original place despite CLEARLY (from the fact it had just been moved) knowing it was in the wrong section, that was a banning offence clearly, but they actively made the choice to leave him unbanned instead, so they clearly dont mind the workload he gives them
