A mate of mine runs a Harvey spec engine which supposedly (sp) made 400bhp/420 lb ft on his dyno.
That was a few years back now but it was running a huge spike and holding just over 2bar with water injection and a real RS500 i/c
Boost is down a fair bit now and has no water inj but it has run very high boost for well over 3 yrs and has seen some serious use without any problems.
Although the power figures could easily be inacurate the fact the turbo has run that boost for such a long period is clearly proof that a well specced T34 built correctly will run high boost levels without failing.
I know these days its not the done thing with so many different turbos on the market but it seemed to be the way things were done back then.
I'm sure Mike can shed some light on Harveys engines and specs from a few years back
