I used bearings that came in a blue box possibly ae or something like that, apparently they are the harder ones.sorry if this sounds dim, will try and find out asap
Pistons were brand new standard comp mahles
block was off a fiesta rst(not the one that came with the car, i bought this seperately to rebuild

crank was polished by qep in ditchling(sussex, they advertise in retro ford and have done a few mid power cossie rebuilds and alot of pug mi16's)

they supplied me the correct bearings for the tolerances, ie i left them to get all that sorted, i got them to fit the pistons to the rods and then i built it.
