I keep having the same thoughts.......
I actually really regret selling my cossie track car on one level........ but then I put the sensible hat on.
If you are going to own a car that has a purpose other than just getting from A to B like normal people, then it has to be reflected in your budget and lifestyle.
My cossie would have been a seriously fast and seriously reliable track car........ except that with consumables (brake discs, tyres etc), and the cost of running it on a track day (ticket, fuel etc), each day would have set me back between £300 and £400 minimum!
When you can have something that does the job as well, provides as much fun, but is cheaper, then you have to go that way, as what sense does it make to have a car that you use 10 times a year sat around for the majority of the year doing nothing.
THAT is madness.............. and yet I still miss it. What the hell is that about?
