you also need to cut down on carbs the trick to shifting fat is to burn more callories than you take in thus the body uses stored energy (fat) eat more protien (or drink it in m.r. drinks)to maintain the muscle you have and this also has the added benifit that the body works roughly twice as hard to digest protien as it does carbs so your also helping it to burn fat that way!!!!
