The 1600 cylinder head is restrictive!" there is obviously lots you can do to improve it and loads of people have achieved very good power figures from it. The point I was trying to make was that in my opinion its only worth while going for extra cc if you use the 16v head to make full use of it. The 1600 bottom end works very well with a mod head so I personally would stick with that.
