Cosworth, more like bloody Christine!
I've got a 3 Door Cos which has just had a full rebuild (actually more like 2 but thats another story) plus a new turbo, clutch, radiator, heater matrix, running a stage 1 chip. Leads and plugs are only about 200 miles old.
I was out in her the other day, engine had just gone over 3k when it started missing. So I put it into neutral, foot of the acelerator which is when the engine started doing its own thing, revving between about 3 and 5k rpm and anything in between. It did this for about 30 secs before settling down again. Drove on and a few miles later it did it again. Restarting the engine clears it. Only seems to happen when the engine goes over 3k rpm and its intermittent, can be fine for ages then it kicks in. Anybody got any ideas, I'm guessing TPS, but thats just a guess.
Cheers
Dave.
