Yeah - get yourself a bigger oil filter (I think the old Sherpa ones fit) and an oil cooler rad. These together won't make a massive difference though, IMO.

Is there no way to get a cossie sump on, modified to clear the crossmember and then wide-winged, with the correct oil pick-up pipe with the piston cooling jets? Would probably be your best option.
