Well, here is my opinion on RST clutches.
Up to 200bhp - Good quality standard clutch
200bhp onwards - Used as a daily driver - AP Uprated Organic
200bhp onwards - Driven hard - AP 4-Paddle or Alcon 6-Paddle
In every case, a new clutch must be fitted with a new or refaced flywheel.
To fit a Paddle clutch onto a daily-driven car is asking for it not to last. They don't like the characteristics of this type of driving (hill-starts, stop-starts etc).
Although to fit an Organic onto a car that is abused isn't good either.
So, you have to make a choice or know the consequences.
In actual fact, my Alcon 6-paddle clutch is the nicest feeling uprated clutch I have used and is holding the power. OK, so it is really on the limit (it is blue at the moment), but it's doing OK.
