you can never tell until on the car. and again depends on ya what bhp/tq you got too if itll be any good. ive been a coooooooont for buying 2nd hand gearboxes. my own fault but it was a cheap option. i went through 5 in 2yrs 2nd hand cause i didnt go for a new one or a bernie box. i did get a new one but i snapped the reverse light switch and it pissed gearbox oil and died after 74miles....dont ever speak to me about that i wasn't a happy bunny

but saying that..i got one for £49 on fleabay and its still doing well (fingercrossed) yr and half on after being in a xr2i now in a 200bhp 220lb/tq S2

if your going to sell it just say it was fine b4 in the car but buy at ya own risk etc...just to cover ya arse
