No problems with the mot as long as they work properly
I've got bias on my dax and it stops like its hit a brick wall, pedal effort is fine but its not like a modern pile o shite like a corsa where you only need to breathe on them to do an emergency stop. I like it that way though because you can hold the brakes on the point of locking all the way from 120+ down to 0mph.
My capri has servo'd brakes, but its the old school style where it does piss all, the pedal is about the same as the dax
