Hi guys

Tried to start the S1 for the first time in a year today after its resto, and i have a slight problem. It runs for a couple of secs then cuts out.

Now i have checked all the obvious and we have a spark, and the fuel pump primes. There is fuel in the fuel filter, and its under pressure to the metering head. If you crack open the four nuts on top of the metering head then there is fuel inside there, but when you try and turn it over with these open, there is no fuel coming up out of them.

I have tried taking off the injector pipe and cranking it, and there is no fuel coming out the injector pipe at the injector.....so its getting as far as into the metering head itself, but not up through the injector pipes...

There IS fuel in the pipe for the cold start valve though

Can anyone offer any help ?

Knew i would get some problems after a year, so this is the first one....

Is the metering head shagged ?

Both the electrical connections on it seem ok (KE Jetronic Plugs)

Any help much appreciated.
