The difference between a hybrid and a normal t3 turbo is that some of the components are uprated.

For example: 360° trust bearing, larger compressor wheel, larger compressor wheel house, uprated actuator, ...

The definition of a hybrid turbo is that the turbo is made out of components of other turbo's.

For example: the compressor and compressor house could be from an escort cosworth's t34 turbo, and then bolted on the t3 of the escort rst.

The advantage of this modification is that the hybrid turbo can blow more compressed air into the engine when the revolutions of the turbo is the same.

I hope I didn't say something wrong, otherwise feel free to correct me.
