A few weeks ago I was driving the S2 as you do...overtook and was doing about 60 and wasnt hammering it but wasnt going slow but as I backed off the car was misfiring badly!

I have got it home and it starts still but misfires...when "revved" I can hear a knocking noise coming from the metering unit!

Just wondered what this could be?
