put some new std ford plugs in there (well, 5 of em... lol need to get one of those deepreach sockets from halfrauds tomorrow to get at no4, mine's a gay twisty handled one) which were supposed to be pre-gapped but they all had ZERO gap (ie elctrodes rouching) anyway, sorted that out

car idles a lot nicer, and seems to drive a lot smoother at low throttle openeings/low revs etc.

just gotta swap no4 plug tomorrow to finish the job off
