it was parked on an embankment at low tide, just west of putney bridge
the tide came in
the van got caught up
it floated away
because it's a regrigerated van, the back is sealed air tight, so that is what bouyed it up at the back
the rental company has asked for it to be fixed but 2 hours worth of sitting in the river and the tow back to the garage has meant that it's wet beyond belief, the seats are moudly, all the insides have rippled, the rear, where some water got in, has a stench beyond comparrison
