Seriously though, something has got to give with dangerous dogs. OK, so alot of the responsibility lies with the owner, but it's still the dog that attacks.

I ALWAYS give those kinds of dogs a wide berth, mainly because I think that owners too complacent and assume that their dog wouldn't hurt anyone or anything. Trouble is, they all think that, even the owners of dogs that do attack. Then they blame something else, like 'He must have been frightened' or 'He saw another dog'. So what, they are killers and more than one innocent child has suffered for it in the last few days.

Imagine the looks I would get if I decided to walk my pet Crocodile.
Totally agree with you.

There was a dog owner on here the other day who said they trusted their dog 100%.... yet in the same sentence said they'd never leave it alone with children

I just don't see how we can justify peoples need for dogs capable of killing.
