Diesel2000 - Thanks mate and defo pics would be great

I would need to run a power cable and probably DVD cables down from the TV so was thinking of putting a pipe type thing on the wall vertically below the TV then running the cables under the carpet with the DVD player under the bed. Only reason I am not sure about chiselling the wall out is I live in an apartment
