Seriously, I got a 37" put on the Chimney Breast in my daughters bedroom (shes only 3 month old) and if you saw the big fucking fittings he put into the wall it would probably scare u off ever attempting it.

I had loads of work done at the same time (cables under floorboards, walls chased, Sky+ installed etc., but the bloke quoted me £70 just to mount the TV (including bracket, which considering Currys want over £40 for the bracket I thought was a belting deal, and all work is gauranteed!
