i took my s/t escoss for mot yesterday and the only thing it failed on was the emissions test as it doesnt have a cat on it. i need the car to pass as it is up for sale and is nice to have a full MOT on a car when you buy it.(its still got a month left) anyone got any ideas as it has a full stauinless and de-cat on it and i dont have the standard cat.
i was going to get my mate to chip the old one and weld a cat in but the xhaust splits into two there is no room to weld one in as the original exhaust usually has two (i think)

Does anyone have a cat for sale or know of a standard exhaust i can buy or rent for its mot. i dont know like £50 for borroewing for the day. i dont want to go out and buy an original as i'm selling the car.

just as a matter of interest does any of you know how much a standard catalytic converter or exhaust costs and where to get it from
