A quick look thru a few editions of the usual 'comic's should show which to avoid'...........
Certain tuners (an ex employee of one gets a couple mentions above)
have an 'uncanny' knack of finding expensive things 'wrong' with your
car.....
I've also seen them do the same when 'looking after' the red 'project'
erst.
Jamie at Jamsport on the other hand is a god, won't BS you or try to sell
you something your car doesn't need and is a really nice guy as well.
Also in the interests of balance I've spoke to Jano at the Ace and he
seems like a top bloke as well (never used his services though) he also
sells top bits and pieces l/his 'brake servo booster' is probably the best
tenner you'll ever spend on your car.
