Evening all, right i will start from the begining..

I recently fooked up my navman pda which runs tomtom 5 and had to switch it off at the main switch, by doing this i wiped the icon off the main screen and needed to get it back.

Tried to install the pda to computer software on my comp, its called active sync.

My computer wouldnt allow it and kept saying it was being blocked by my firewall, so i disabled it and began to install the pda stuff. This didnt fix my pda and so i started to surch on the net for a complete fix or new file for tomtom5. In the end i was on "a d/l" website and ended up trying to d/l tomtom....

The computer started playing up and then switched to a blue screen which said something about a virus and going on with something called spy sherriff....

Anyway now i cant put my firewall back up, i have tried the windows sp2 install and this hasnt made a difference, When i try to open my firewall options in control panel it just says due to errors we couldnt open the firewall options page....

Anyone got any advice as im worried my comp is gona be open to being rapped or something.

The task bar also has a little red shield on it witha white cross on...?

Any help would be very much appreciated....
