Default FAO Mad Rod

Sorry to put another Mad Rod thread up

The Car is amazing and I was just wondering (as I don't know how it works) if you had a longer proving ground would you achieve an even higher top speed? Or is the aim to achieve a fast as possible speed in a specified distance?

I only ask as I was reading Autoexpress on the shitter today and they have a feature on different cars (dedicated top speeders and modified road cars) doing top speed times at the Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah.

Just interested
